5 open roles Remote, US

Careers

Build insurance software with people who have written the business. Remote-first, US-based, and structured so you own whole pieces of the product.

What it is like to build this

Insurance software is only hard in the places nobody outside the industry knows about. That is the work.

The domain is the product

Election periods, formularies, underwriting classes, and Scope of Appointment rules are not edge cases here. They are the thing being built, and the people specifying them have sat in the appointment.

Small surface, real ownership

Intake, quoting, the recommender, enrollment, agency hierarchies, and a licensable API. You will own a whole area, not a slice of a ticket queue.

Feedback from live agencies

Beta agencies run real cases through what you ship and tell us within days. That loop is short on purpose, and it is the best part of working here.

Solved Enroll is in private beta. You would be joining before the 2027 public rollout, while beta cohorts are still shaping what the platform does. Read about the company.

How the team works

Remote-first and US-based, with the operating habits that make that actually function.

Remote-first, US

The team works remotely across US time zones. Roles that touch beta cohorts travel to an agency now and then.

Written by default

Decisions get written down so people in other time zones are not guessing. Meetings are for the arguments worth having live.

Ship small, ship often

Work goes out in pieces an agency can react to, instead of a quarter-long build nobody has tested against a real case.

Regulated by default

Client health data and CMS rules are part of every design conversation, not a review someone does at the end.

What we look for

The same four things in every role, whether you write code or write business.

  • Specificity. You can describe a real case, a real failure, or a real rule, rather than a category of work.
  • Ownership. You finish things, including the unglamorous last ten percent that decides whether an agent trusts the tool.
  • Respect for the agent. The person using this is doing a hard job in someone's living room. Every extra click is a real cost.
  • Comfort with regulation. Rules are constraints to design around, not obstacles to complain about.

FAQs

Hiring questions

How do I apply?

By email. Send a note and a resume to contact@solvedenroll.com with the role in the subject line. There is no application portal, no login, and no form that disappears into a database nobody reads.

Do I need insurance experience?

For the product, compliance, and beta success roles, yes: we want people who have written the business or run the agency operations. For engineering roles, no. We will teach you what an election period is; you bring the ability to build systems that do not drop a case.

Is the team remote?

Remote-first and US-based. The work happens across time zones in writing, with regular calls when a decision needs a conversation. Roles that touch beta cohorts include occasional travel to an agency.

What if none of these roles fit?

Write anyway. Tell us what you are good at and what you would want to own here. We read everything that comes to the contact address.
